I cannot claim to be the best, but I can provide some useful tips.
1) You NEED a good prep stance to gain the power.
2) When delivering the punch, always deliver an opposing force from your hips. (For example, if rotating chest right, extend left hip)
3) Although this may not ALWAYS hold true, I find that most times if you relax your wrist when punching it provides more power.
4) Should be obvious, but ALWAYS use chest AND pecs
5) Just when the punch is about to land (around 10 frames before it lands) contract the punching elbow (unless you are doing a backhand punch) to gain momentum and power
6) If it helps you, use the speedometer. Type /sm 1 to turn it on.
7) Lastly, be patient and practice. Think about how YOU do it in real life!
