punchline
What’s up Aeon, I’m Mike.
I’m 18 years old, going on 19 this January. I’m attending college in Southwest Indiana (GMT-5) and am studying to be a software engineer. Hobbies include Lacrosse, Dirtbikes, programming, the science behind computers, and obviously playing games. I’ve always been a fan of the free (as in open-source) variety of games, though recently I’ve been playing a lot of more social games such as LoL, Magicka, and Borderlands (1 & 2) (fun games, but mostly I just play them to chill with people around college). In the past, I’ve competitively played a number of relatively unheard of games such as Tremulous, Urban Terror, and of course Toribash. I guess you could say that I like the niche games which maybe don’t have the greatest graphics but at the same time tend to attract a slightly older (on average) gamer-base who are more interested in hanging out on the same server every night than owning noobs with their l33t skills.
But enough about boring me-stuff, let’s talk about Toribash. I joined TB late in 2008 and have played intermittently for the past six years (wow, almost hard to believe it’s been that long). At one point I joined a startup clan in the hopes to get into TB more, but that fell apart fairly quickly when nobody seemed to participate or meet in-game at all. This time around I’m definitely looking to change that. I want to join a well-established clan with a close-knit group of friends. As you can see, I’m not exactly the most active of forum members here around TB, but that’s primarily because I never really tried to socialize much in-game before this year. However, I’m hoping that my low post count won’t count too much against me and you guys can meet me in-game or over Skype and get a better feel for me there. I think that my forum activity will very likely go up now that I’m making friends in the game.
Let’s see, what else should I mention… I should probably say I’m a 4th dan black belt (usercard below) with an okayish win-lose ratio. I should mention that I’m pretty kickass at Aikido-type mods and pretty suck-ass at wushu-type mods. My favorite mod overall would probably be greykido. In terms of special skills, I’m really good with programming/scripting. In-fact, I posted a script in the script section called Hand control, which basically is a gui for unsticking/sticking the tb hands from two buttons on the screen when the hands are hidden behind the player.
I've attached the replays in which I'm a complete badass (not really). I’ve only had this computer/tb instance for about a month so there’s not much on here.

In terms of why I want to join Aeon, I can tell that you guys are a really close clan and you seem to have a lot of fun with each other, which is exactly what I'm looking for. I've talked with Chirs and Jormungandr over Skype quite a bit over the last week and they're really easy-going guys who I've enjoyed chilling with.
Finally, to wrap things up, I’d like to end on a little joke.
Did you hear that the U.S. Marines just found and freed over a hundred ISIS sex slaves?
