There are clans that get it on their first attempt, but even my old clan [Reach] had 5,000+ posts and a good leader and great clanmates, didn't spam much, and we didn't get officialdom our first try.
On a related note, getting rejected is probably the hardest thing a clan can face. It's when the loyal membersl stay and the not so loyal members leave.
Also, does anyone play Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition? It's not as advanced as the computer version but it's getting there. It's very fun!
