So I've known for a while I'm gonna miss the first 2/3 (9th-11th of July) days of my Orientation week at Uni (9th - 17th) cause I'm in Australia for fencing (Reffing, not competing).
This is ok.

I have JUST found out that the orientation day that is specific to my course is the day I get back at about 9am, the 11th. Now this would be ok if I was landing at 6am or some crazy time. But I land at 3pm or something.

Also found out that I'm on average, two/three years older than the people I'll be sharing a flat with. I'm also ok with this cause it usually means I'll be able to be nudging them away from fucking retarded things like they do. (as long as they don't keep me up on training nights and smoke indoors I really won't care what they do tbh)

Also probably gonna have to move my PC and shit like that in before I leave for Aussie. Just so I don't have to cause/receive havoc for it later.

Cause I committed to the competition before I got accepted to Uni and I'm not keen to go back on it. (Partly cause I feel it'd be shitty to do, and partly cause if I work super hard at this, it could really take off.) ... also they pay me and stuff... and I'm keen to be a familiar face in the official area for the new NZ kids that are going to the comp.

Plus it's only the first 2/3 days. I'm half expecting to walk into the middle of a party/aftermath of a party. Neither of which I mind (as long as there isn't destruction in my room)

For real though, Iceland hype train.
