Master Sergeant(MSG)
Principal NCO at the battalion level, and often higher. Not charged with all the leadership responsibilities of a CSM, but expected to dispatch leadership and other duties with the same professionalism.

::ICOF:: A Master Sergeant is expected to help the CSM and the Sergeants in their duties by keeping an eye out for in-clan problems, and also helping to create training schedules and helping in the training of the Sergents themselves.



Sergeant(SGT)
Typically commands a squad. Considered to have the greatest impact on Soldiers because SGTs oversee them in their daily tasks. In short, SGTs set an example and the standard for Privates to look up to, and live up to.

::ICOF:: Sergeants begin to assume more responsibility within the clan by setting up training plans for the CPL's and their associated recruits. It is their duty to oversee the training of all those of lower rank. It is at this point that players may wish to deny a rank advancement if they cannot dedicate themselves to being on frequently.
