I doubt anyone on this forum has the artistic capacity or the patience to attempt to make this thing. It does sound cool, and seeing a finished version of it would be awesome.

I don't doubt the artistic capacity, but people in general are not only lazy, but also discouraged by all these naysayers.

This was meant to spur someone to either follow this model or make something even better. Do it. I demand it.

SO how do we print these excatly? Are they the right scale?

how r you supposed to fold the spheres/joints? if i learned how to do dat i guess i could make it. and plz if it isnt scaled, scale it

Hmm you might be better off buying Styrofoam spheres from an art store.

Trust me there are better.

Things like the whole Halo Armor has been built;



They use some boat fibre repair mix or something to make the paper strong as real hard plastic.

And the Halo armour is wearable and a little easier to build than the toribash figure posted here.

And yes, that armour piece is made out of paper.

I do think they're the right scale. :|

Well I found a better sphere map you can view here (will take 1 minute with 56k) but I'd have to know the sizing of each of the 21 spherical parts (all joints + head) to make one for each separate sphere...
