In my opinion, Toribash got overcustomizable immediately after Trail Textures.

But I definately would not mind seeing a revival of "Cevius' Left Tit" and "hampa's head on a stick" items.

I understand your point of view as you been here a while longer than me and must like Toribash the way it started. But I don't see it as over customizing, more bettering itself with new ideas that continue to grip and interest players and hopefully encourage new ones to arrive.

I'm happy to see changes made, and have really enjoyed someone of the ones that have been implemented while I am here, such as Bumpmaps and flames.

There will obviously be a limit to what can be done with Toribash, but I don't think it has been reached yet.

I think that achievements would definitely add an extra zing to Toribash, and possibly up it's popularity and the players' willingness to uphold their activity.

I don't think its a necessity but it would be an interesting addition

The reason I don't play is because toribash lacks things like this, imagine WoW, they got popular for frequent small additions that were added in a fixed date every month. If toribash had this they'd gain another 100,000 members. Seriously. Now I won't vote in this poll because I'll get bashed for it, but it's a good idea.
