Wait, so you kill the bunnies, and then you use them as bait to kill the foxes, which would otherwise stay away?

...this took a wrong turn somewhere but I can't put my finger on it :U
How to complain in style: GG, Mahulk.
the foxes are already there, but we dont know exactly where. This way we do know and can wait for them to appear and kill them

I thought you're talking about hunting for sport. Are you really going to eat all the animals you kill?

yes. otherwise why would i go to the effort of shooting at them?! Also, read the above posts. Hunting is also about pest control.
tbh, i don't spend much time outside the city now, and i haven't shot at anything for a while. And probably won't for a while either. But my opinion has not changed.

Because foxes kill chickens and the like. Although i'm sure fubuki will be able to give a more thorough answer on why you want to kill vermin =)

And on a side note - to all the guys posting "its immoral!". Comment on the issue when you've actually got some experience =) What a fox does to some chickens is far more disgusting and violent than shooting the fox.

Pretty much what harl said. They kill chickens and the pheasants, and once one of our puppies was attacked by a fox, giving me a personal vendetta
Well, there are infinite ways to keep wild animals away without killing them.

I've never hunted in my life, by the way.

Foxes can't use guns bro. If they could, they would. So, of course, They rip and tear the rabbit apart.
Also, Why would you kill the rabbit then throw it somewhere for the fox to get it then kill the fox? Why not do something to the rabbit like marketing it?

The "disgusting and violent" bit is killing 300 chickens and then eating 2 or 3......

Also, there is no profit margin for marketing them. The time it takes to prepare them is worth more than the rabbits themselves

uh, yes, you restated that chickens (i assume you meant chickens or pheasants by "rabbits") die horribly at the hands/paws of foxes. So, which way would you rather die?

as for "marketing" it, do explain ?! lol? As fubuki stated, you eat a few, and then throw away the excess. It may seem cruel to most Americans, but hunting is part of rural life for a lot of people here in the UK, and it isn't going to change on account of some "animal lovers" bawwing about how things are done. In fact, many people who have lived, or live in the country (including myself) love animals. But there is a difference between the dog, and vermin like foxes which directly damage peoples' income.

No harsh tone meant here, but if you ever experience this lifestyle for yourself, then you'll understand why it's done.
