There is one thing you have been repeating throughout this. The government does not pay for sports. MLB pays for MLB. NBA pays for NBA. Where do they get their money you say? When you buy tickets and snacks. That goes to the team. And some of the teams profits go to the organization that owns it. As well as money from sponsors. No government intervention.
You watch football and have fun.
you watch Science and dislike viewing it.
I understand certain people enjoy science and its contributes, but the majority of the people want to watch football instead.
Hens the more money brought in to watch football, the more money goes to the players.

Look the governent pays the doctors
Now that I know who pays the players
The players get paid by their own team right?
I mean yu can't force them to pay something that's more useful

So what's the problem ?
I see nothing wrong with this.

Honestly though, it's basically our own fault that a bunch of people that know how to play with balls gets paid more than a doctor. The reason is that they are getting paid so much is that MILLIONS of people want to watch that certain sport. If less people watch sport, those orgs will get less money, meaning less money for their players. But that's definitely not going to happen.
Ok so the decision is final. Athletes make more money and always will and nothing can be done about it. Sadly, this is the truth we have to accept.
It is simple supply and demand. I will now explain (aided with pictures drawn on paint)

The majority of the population want to watch football. This means that the demand for good footballers is high. High demand means that the price of the good will be higher.

The majority of the population are seriously shit at football. This means that the supply of good footballers is very low. A low supply means that the value of the good will be higher.

This is why elite athletes get paid a lot more than any other profession.
There are also other points why athletes get paid so much.

Elite athletes are very few in number. Guess why?

It takes years and years of practice and sacrifices to make it to the level where one can do the sport full time without a second job.
Doctors and teachers study for what 15-20 years but remember that most athletes have went through the same time educating themselves + the sport wich is really hard work.

I quit ice hockey at the age of 15, because I couldn't handle the number of practices per week, 6/week + games. So I have respect for people who can endure the pressure it takes to be a pro athlete, I bet that 99.9% of toribash players won't have the prerequisites to be pro athletes. I guess that most people disapproving athletes salaries haven't played any serious sport and don't understand the amount of work that the pro athletes have gone through, it also takes a lot of natural talent or steroids to make it to the top.

Don't watch sports if you disapprove the huge salaries paid to the best in the world.
I'll have fun while watching pro athletes put their bodies and lifes at a risk for me to get entertained.
It would be fun If I got paid for playing ice hockey but I'm just not mentally fit to be a pro.
Or maybe I'll become a pest and continue the legacy of Tikkanen and Ruutu.

EDIT: + I completely agree with Rafafu.
