Wow, it's nice. My only problem with the head is that it's to blurry.
Other than that it's quite nice ;o

course i do...

Here's something from the middle ages. Meet avwave 1.0

regarding the fuzzy look: Sharp shapes tend to alias a lot, specially in 128x128. Well defined shapes gain a little depth with proper use of blurring. Not too much to obscure the shapes, but enough to meld them with each other

flavor text is from G.I. Joe

ya, i use the slight blur to add definition, but a black blur on a black pattern just fuzzes. you'd have to reduce the blur to add definition

Avwave, is that a blender rig? The joints just seem so shiny.

Now on the main set. I really like that diamond on it's forehead is drawn to glow, and the simplicity on the biceps/triceps. Legs look like they have the same lightness, but I can't tell due to the shot. Which by the way is a very good presentation.

Nobuddie has a good point, although I believe that the reason this set is earning high praise is that every texture goes into the next. As in the set as a whole looks good. It isn't a fancy, 512x, Dusted, Steel-trimmed, with all the works set. But it is a set that incorporates the textures for a overall lasting appeal.

As for not making body... Well I just make one image, and use a template to make it flow through-out its torso. It takes about ten minutes of resizing work, but still gives of a nice look in the end. I think it's easier than making each one separately.

Hey BenDover, do you ever use Outline-Object for tribals?, that and a blur normally add enough value to my set.
