DQ is all part of Aikido. Proper fighting is virtually impossible - you're too close together and when you combine the turnframes & gravity non-grappling moves aren't a valid way of fighting.

I see no problem in DQing someone to win. If they're stupid enough to try & kick then they deserve to land on their ass when you sweep their leg. A lot of the fun is countering what your opponent does, use their weight against them etc.

If people don't like DQ then play without the ring & no DQ, you'll soon see that it's not as fun flapping around on the floor trying to rub-off on the other guy for extra points.

<Erf> i think i hate you
you are wrong skulfuk, if both players figth that way you will find a very stupid figths, it looks like gay! in big dojo the time is enougth to get other guy out. and then it will be a good thing.
i remember i made 34 streak on aikido when i was black and it wasnt a shovel. but if was a push.
small dojo - who fails lose!
big dojo - who is better win!
( of course there is allways a lucky factor )

how about i'll just change it to greykido and you can enjoy your 5% chance of landing on a pad when someone shovels you out

should count this like a vote?
Exactly thats why is ultimate. it souposed to be harder. but not for the rules, for the contrincants.
Olso small dojo lower the chances of the good players to show what can they do..

Oh. So, people who fail in big dojo don't lose? People who are better in small dojo won't win? You're being quite the redundant chap here. Better players show under the adverse circumstances. Less space = less maneuverability, less margin for mistake, among some other stuff.
Point is, you're contradicting yourself. You're basically saying it's harder to fight on a small dojo, therefore making it more difficult. Expert players = higher difficulty. Therefore, small dojos are the solution to this problem you cooked up out of nowhere. If you want to play bigdojo, go play it in your server. That's what server creation is for.
The only problem is that he has to have it official so he can get paid for what he's better at.

apple:, my english isnt good. as you said small dojo less movility, thats what we are talking about. its all about a personal opinion, i allways talk with ultimate aikido users and there is a lot of who want bigaikido.
may i ask you how many times for day you play in ultimate aikido? couse ive never seen you there.
May you actually answer to my points with counter-arguments? Because I fail to see how a bigger dojo makes for more difficult fights.

No, I've never played in Ultimate Aikido, seeing as I've not played Toribash in ages.
I used to play when there wasn't any of this Ultimate crap, I played in sweet old BlackBelt Aikido. Do you want to ask me anything else about my in-game experiences or do you want to answer my post and attempt to refute it?
