Anyways; why should we care? Building a town over already unstable ground just means that the probability of a sinkhole is much higher. Derpidy derp. Frankly, I live on the east coast of Florida, and I'm about three feet above sea level. You'd think I'd have reason to be scared of something like this, but I'm really not. Sinkholes (major ones like this, at least) are pretty rare unless you live in an area that has like torrential rain on a regular basis.

the sink hole's i have seen arn't nearly as bad as that but isn't that sink hole still considered minor (for the sinkhole)

It looks really, really terrifying.
Not that it's a hole, but the fact that it's in the middle of the town like that, I feel bad for people who live near it. It's not like they will dies or something, but oh wow.

Example: I have seen a picture of a sinkhole that you can't even see the bottom. It was ENORMOUS. It looked like a hole that led strait to hell. So thank God that those holes were small
