hahahhaa.... you know what the funny thing is? fat people can FUCKING STOP EATING. thats what my dad did. before he was like 200 pounds and was 5 foot 7 inches. he went to the doc and the doc told him he had high blood sugar high cholesteral and that he would have serious problems if he didnt lose weight and fix those other health issues. so my dad did lose the weight now hes 150 pounds and regular weight. It doesnt matter who's fault it is fat people are sick and need to be cured. The cure is lose weight. SO do it stop complaining. I bet if you showed any kid their life expectancy from being obese and from being healthy they would want to be healthy. Just show the child the facts... and problem solved.... they dont want to be fat anymore.... and will most likely try to lose weight..... its just logical.

I only condone losing weight by eating healthy foods and correct portions.

Going on "diets or dieting" is really bad for you, if you are doing that fucking stop it.

Going on a diet is better for you than eating donuts and fries.
the god
One more point i want to add:

The playing field is not even for all people. People are genetically predisposed to a certain body type.

Some are ectomorphs (naturally high metabolism, skinny)
Some are mesomorphs (naturally muscular, ideal athletic build)
Some ares endomorhs (slow metabolism, tend to be fatter).

Evolution produces diversity because it's important for species survival.
Still, if you are obese and conscious of it, you should definitely take steps to remedy it. In life you have to adjust to the world, not the other way around.
the only reason i see for not making fun of a fat kid is if he is genetically prone towards being fat. or he has somekind of water absorbancy disease that forces him to be fat.

Well, as an overweight teen, Im understanding both points of view. I guess my parents didn't really feed me correctly as a child, but I feel I have the power, at 16, to remedy the situation. I haven't thus far, and continue to eat cool ranch doritoes as I surf the web all day. Im one of those you could make fun of. Maybe one day Ill get the inspiration to get off my ass. Maybe.
Thanks.
At 16 you know the damage that you are doing to yourself and have some power to change what you are doing. Kids who are 10 or 11 have no idea what they are doing, nor can they really do anything about it.

Here is one of the grossest examples of parental negligence:

These parents were raised in a world of "convenience" and corporate consumerism. the parents alone arent to blame, but their own environment as well.

People raised to rely on the ease of convenience are only NATURALLY going to grow fat and unhealthy.

It's something that you can ignore from me, though, 'cuz i have no rational way of describing how stupid i think the situation is.

"Dieting" i agree, but "diet" is merely a word that describes your variety and frequency of intake.

Oats, fruit, vegetables, and herbs were the ideal human diet for eons, but genetics come into play from the conditioning humans have subjected themselves to since the last ice age, some genetics have grown dependent on food types that were not always naturally healthy for the human body, but we have adapted over the generations.

Odlov: i guess that makes me an ectomorph but i find it is not as simple as genetic influence, but a combination of personal lifestyle, competing with the lifestyles of the parents', recorded in their genes.

I beleive that we can overcome our genetic limitations by challenging ourselves and pushing ourselves past our limits.
I never built much muscle in my life (or fat) until i started working out more and more regularly. Now, im earning a six pack and some cut features that i never before thought possible.

However, I'll still probably never see 200 lbs even if I tried, since i was at my "laziness peak" when i was eating the most consistently and quantity in my life... kind of ironic, but that was around the time i began training in Karate, and taking on self-training in the natural style martial art.
I've gained 40 lbs from all this, pure muscle. If i could afford to better my diet, i would expect that my efforts would produce tenfold results in weight gain and muscle building.

I believe that the diet and lifestyle are more dominant in determining the body shape and type than genetics are.

This is the sad and brutal truth people.

Now we're getting into infinite regress. If a killer commits murder, we don't punish his parents and society (although they played a big part in his development).
Many people are raised in consumerism environment. Not all are fat.
The information about effects of consuming quality and quantity of certain foods is out there.

Never meant to suggest they were. Merely pointing out that which influences the topic the most, at least in my opinion.

And taking my words in such a manner also ignores the diversity of body types and lifestyles, which are not strictly correlated to the environment, but the whole range of experiences, which are as diverse as the world itself.

However, i will still not condone majority consumerist lifestyle, as it only encourages the problem and serves very little to manage it or encourage any effort in solution.

Rather, we are left to our own selves to do that, not always encouraged by outside influences to do right for ourselves. seemingly more often than not encouraged to live self damaging lifestyles.

I am not saying it is inherently a problem to be obese either, there are healthy types of obesity and unhealthy alike.

Growing obese on healthy and high fiber foods results in healthier bodies, in spite of their size.

The size alone is not what the problem is, but the cause of the girth is.
Is it from high intake of healthy ingredients, or from excessive ingestion of preservatives?
Does your skin hang loose, or snap back like a rubber band?
Can you jog more than 100 yards, or swim longer than 15 minutes?
Is your breathing regularly shallow, or is it deep?

There are healthy fat people as well as unhealthy alike, it is more about your diet and lifestyle than anything else.

It is merely that consumerism encourages more laziness than activity, as it provides th ease of convenience, so long as you have enough money, thereby encouraging, not physical activity, but wage earning activity, which is not always very active.
