Just save up for a mid range card that can go beyond basic shaders if you are that concerned. It'll give you better value as in, actually playable, and you can even enjoy more advanced games. Cuz a graphics card Just for tb? It's like buying an xbox just to play halo 3. I've considered doing both of those at one point, but then you don't get very much out of your money.

that graphics card was made in 1998, of couse it wouldnt support shaders, it doesnt even have the right adapter for modern moitors.

what is your budget, i could find you a great grphics card that could speed up yout pc all togever

also, it one thing geting a grphics card but you have to install it, config it, know what pci slot to put it on and adapt it to your computer,

Also, you must know what GPU slot you have on your motherboard. Could you post your motherboard model here?
