We live in europe, england. And your point about something not being good because its popular can be attributed to the original PlayStation. I vote XBox 360 personally, again because I havent seen the Wii in action yet. And Playstation 3 is overpriced. Far too overpriced. And I hold a grudge against it (This may have something to do with a grand deal of bad reveiws of it so far...).

I didnt really play the ps1. The first system i bought was the PS2. When the ps1 was out i went over to friends houses and played nitendo 64 and stuff. Actually come to think of it when i was little i didnt play video games that much. :o

One point everybody seems to be missing is online gaming.
Nintendo does not care about it. For what I have read Sony's online system sucks badly. Micro$oft has years of experience with xbox live and PC online gaming.
The only reason for me to get new console may be Halo 3 multiplayer in Xbox live. I hope the competition brings down the 360's price while waiting.

As much as I enjoy online gaming, I tend to only play it on the PC now. Thanks to Toribash it seems to be taking up most of my time anyways :P

I was a Die-Hard PS1 fan ever since i got one, (it was a while ago, don't ask me how long) and I was exited at the prospect of the PS2...
Which when released was just the PS1 with better graphics, which dissapointed me to no end...

Which happened for both the Wii and Xbox aswell, you'll always get the group of Die-Hard fans who will wait for their new console, If i'd had the money for the Xbox when it came out, I'd have happily camped out overnight in town.

Hasn't there been 101 PS3, Xbox360, Wii threads? am I the only one thats had enough of them all
