I'm sorry, but every single thing in the original zeitgeist concerning religion has been disproven.
So, no the majority of it was most certainly not true. It's not even close to being true.
I could list thing after thing about the religion part of Zeitgeist and tell you exactly why it is bollocks, but since this is not about the original movie I'll refrain so this thread won't derail.
Now, if you're interested in why I think absolutely everything that Zeitgeist claims about religion (Christianity in particular) is blatantly false I can create a new thread about it so we can discuss it there and not make this thread go off-topic.
If not, then just ignore this rant.
