Only part I liked was the run at 1:17...but that video actually inspires me to try to make a line boarder scene.
If anyone wants to create a scene like this and know what he did he probably created a bunch of collision prisms in the enviroment for the track and set the material to ice. Then he created the sled out of mass objects in the character editor. He then used a join bodies constraint to join the rider to the sled. He used a lock orientation on the sled so it wouldn't go off the track and disabled it on the jumps. When the sled breaks he probably just used a sever event. For the running and jumping on the sled part he used a combination of a run and an active pose. (This is all my dissection of the ani, I could be wrong)
