Humans are incapable of ever developing a permanent and peaceful resolve. I doubt you could live a conflict free life.
It is all a matter of power.
There exist too many powers to live peacefully. Uniting those powers would solve many problems.
I am quite certain that there will be a world government sooner or later.
Saying that war is a good and needed thing because of one guy being the evil one is rather silly. War itself brought most of the pain people experience all over the world.
Also: Before judging what Gadafi does you should ask yourself what the ones who try to stop them did in the past. Or tried ..
Their tries have not been very successfully, have they?
Gadafi is also not the super monster the media call him.
He helped Lybia by a great deal. He managed to free the country from debts, started many projects that improved the people's life, brought the industry up etc. Lybia has a better social system than most coutries.
Lybia has the highest average income in Africa, health care is for free, he built several universities and introduced school atttendance.
It is true that he used military force to stop people from trying to remove him. But that does not justify attacking a country.
Most people in Lybia infact like Gadafi because he helped the country develop so drastically.
