just trowing out prices, but u get the point
not all of us have the funding to shoot with superb glass, so we just use what we can get

Well neither do I to be honest :P I am a poor student, but I can borrow all the equipment I need like this lens from my school. Thanks for giving a thumbs up about these prices.
You can take awesome pictures with a cell phone camera if you want to, good equipment just makes it easier for you.
So basically the main problem isnt being able to afford equipment but the part where you actually go outside of your house and shoot.
