I like this whole permanent death thing. Might make people more careful and actually value teamwork.

in theory, the permanent death concept is great, in practice you'll set up your little base and treat your character like dwarf fortress people, disposable

I don't know, I'm too excited to think negative on this. Lets just see how it goes.

People on the forums suicided their haven characters to play salem, and when they played it, they hated it.

Its not the same game.
Why would they kill their hh chars to try another game?

They killed their characters because they thought: "omgz 3d haven!!! fuck dis 2d i r out!!1!"

You should check out the forum, they really are an intelligent, delightful bunch.

But yeah, I won't take their word for it either, they may think it sucks because it isn't as developed as haven (yet)
