Loooool ^ anyways, I'm Latin American and well, at my college I'm one of the low populated brown skinned. I don't get to talk much to them because they are not of my class, so I'm the only brown in my class. Still, I sometimes say nigga but not trying to be offensive. I just find it as a friendly word if aimed properly, I wouldn't care if someone came and said to me what's up nigga, but I would do if they came and said something like... Burnt toast or something if you know what I mean.
I mainly hate the gender double standards, on both sides.
Such as;
Kicking a person in the groin.
Women getting kicked = Horrible joke and offensive.
Men getting kicked = Comedy gold.
Mutilating of the genital.
Women = A horrible abomination and should be banned.
Men = An average tuesday.
Abuse.
Women = Poor creatures that are the majority that are being abused.
Men = The actual poor creatures that are the majority.
Rape.
Women = Poor creatures that are the majority.
Men = Gay.
Thorn
You do not name the context of the action. In the context of comedic entertainment, you would be about right. In an every day situation, kicking a guy in the testicles isn't very nice.
I believe this double standard simply arises from male vs female physiology.
Are you talking about circumcision? Again, physiology with a bit of traditional beliefs make it so circumcision is an acceptable part of society.
It just seems to me that you're complaining here that men have it hard in life. If not, are you talking about physical abuse? Verbal abuse?
Pretty sure no one actually believes that any kind of rape is acceptable or less reprehensible than any other kind of rape. Who believes that a man being raped is gay for the raped man?
I feel like your post comes more from your emotions than from any A-B logically supported analyzation of double standards in our society :P. We can't debate your emotions, they are intrinsically irrational.
