@Art overall
I know, it's like some art teachers in school who tell you that you do good art and you feel good about it, but when you go to a more professional level they say it's not good enough and you feel discouraged. Then you ask yourself "I thought I was good" but that was just them telling you what you wanted to hear.

Anyways, I'll stay tune and see whenever you update.
Good luck! :)

Too much glare in my opinion. I'm glad you took my suggestion into consideration though. :o Would be cooler if the head was further apart as a result from the impact of the kick though.

I like the shader that you choose, it gives a warm sunset look to the background. The only problem would be the light rays that you added infront of the tori, it's obstructing and taking the magic out of the scene, shouldn't be there to say the least. The effect on top of the blue tori looks rushed and it just simply bothers me. You did a poor work when you erased and tried to wrap it around the tori and it just look pasted on top. Camera angle shows dem smexy hit and I just love the way you captured that scene, you should fix/erase the light rays thought.

Anyways, you can try something like this with the sunset scenary.
The sunset behind, battle scene, you get the poing I guess.

•Play with the colors settings (Color corrections)
•Work more with the effects

Good idea, I know some effects with that "cloudy" feeling :3

Btw the shader is light from the start, i just added some filters to make it look like that ;)

This one looks cool c:

The only problem would be the reflection, but seeing it now, I think it gives the illusion of a tuning with soul effect (I don't know how to explain) The smoke was brilliant, I love the color and fogginess in the image. However, I don't like the smudges, but I know you tried to simulate preassure with the power. Effects look good, the daimyo hat fits perfectly with the meditating sort of pose scene.

Good job
