My Wishlist for Hampa ...
since there is so many Santa imposters out there theese days, i dont trust that guy no more :3

1. a new damage/points-system! because the momentary one just doesnt feel right for a fighting game. i dont understand the underlaying code structures but i think a short damage timeout after a clean hit could fix this ridiculous high points gained by just rubbing hands and feet on your oponent
2. -.- ...a dojo for wushu ....its a fighting game not freeroaming GTAWhiteout. nuff said
3. a new toribash! dont get me wrong, i still think that toribash is one of the best game concepts that are out there and i tryed quiet a few in my gamingcareere wich is now more than 20years ^^
buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut
i feel like that is time for changes and since you are going with this steam/greenlight stuff and all that advertising to atract more players i think it would be a good idea to add some new stuff like it was done with the wii version of tb for example(2 different joint speeds) this realy made a big differnence in movement options.
also, while we start tb from scrach, we could add things like:
4. cloths (could be a new tc source for nabi =P).
5.more realistic weapons/weapon-mods. maybe achievable or buyable ones or choosable before match starts (stuff like swords,staffs, baseballbat,leadpipe^^ twinsabres, nunchuks and if the coders feel fancy enough i could imagine even guns)
6. instead of 1000 different mods there could be stages like in good old beatemups(maybe with deathtraps and such for stuff similar to finishingmoves in MK or even breakable enviroment)
7. instead of pointsdisplay an energybar would ad to the thrill of a battle and sometimes shorten matches a bit. also the bar could be related to qi/ki achived or even the belt, like say the higher the belt the more energy.....yaya i know that this would seem unfair in public rooms but then again higher belts could have their intense matches amongst themselfes while lower belts would learn faster ^^
8. combos wich decrease the new energybar slightly higher with every (clean) hit within a given period of frames, like maybe add 10% per next hit to the damage calculation or something like that(some fancy onscreen bling bling particles related to the combo so it gets harder to go on because the attackers sight on his tori decreases with every next combohit)
9. an openingsequence for battles that are edited by each player himselfe like all other fighting games have for each character(50-100 frames)
10. along with the sequence an openingstance (some dude wrote it somewhere else) could be limited by mod/room management if it comest to official/public matches with close engage distance no need for the ones with more distance, for its opener-alike and opener dont guarantee a win. or the sequence and the stance could be combined like do sequence for walk in (or whatever) and speed at the end needs to be 0 and this makes for the stance

ooooooooooooooooooooh totaly forgot, PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSS SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE get that /enterfee command to work properly, so we can fund irregular tourneys and such

I agree, There should be an option between the two players or the host of a server to turn on healthbar, and adjust the amount of damage it takes for the healthbar to drain and ect.

Exactly, it seems that this would be a rather simple feature to implement since it can be based on the current point system. It could just be that the first player to reach a certain number of points(50k for example) gets the win. Although an actual bar would look cooler.

i totally agree.i would favour a healtbar over the pointssystem anytime.

for competitve wushu theres no other way imo.will restrict the freedom of movement tho but whatever

i´m all for more realistic weapons but i think being able to chose differnt weapons before the match starts could destroy the fairness of toribash(except all those funmods ofc) which is still its greatest feature imo.

very good idea.Tb is all about customisation of ur tori anyway and this is a way for players to show off their toris.The only problem i have with it that it already takes a long time to finish one fight and this would make it even a little longer.And imagine to have to watch all dem nooby openingsequences...nah)
The solution imo would be to make this a buyable highprice item.its not gamechanging in any way but a very good way for players who like to show off their own tori.this way we, most likley ,would also just get to see interesting toris in form of textures and movement.

i fully support to be able to setup stances before the match starts in every mod.everyone should be able to start with any stance he like.Imagine how many new openers and stuff would be invented with that.BUT the ability to setup your stance has to be limited to special rooms/mods because its heavily gamechanging.

I agree with this, the hands are fused together and the wrists break off, a new hands system would make the game more realistic.

Toribash is a game about equal strength really. You can't have BUY ABLE weapons you can just choose at the beginning of the game to destroy aikido. Really? Cloths wouldn't work at all. Same with the customizable toris.

The stance idea for differn't mods is pretty cool though. Other than that...

The big picture of this game is not about how good your tori is but how good YOU are at controlling it.

dueds ur lack of phantasy/creativety realy frightens me. i never said that buyable weapons should destroy fair games, let so called aikido(wich has nothing to do with real aikido btw) be what it is if u so desire. but just imagine a mod where u can choose between lets say 3 weapons (and i mean weapons wich dont crash the game nor hurt u more with the handle than oponent nor this instagibcrap) before start.... cloths well i wont accept that they are undoable since we have hair, hats and flames/ particles (wich make my comp lag as they are) even trails wich could do pretty well for basic clothing...so where exactly do you see the problem ? i dont get it please someon capable of, explane it to me!!!111!!!1!!!

I've seen a guy manipulate wrists so well that he can break them at will. The wrists breaking off isn't random at all and can be prevented with a relaxed wrist. Having mixed feelings about this.

Holy shit plisken. Half of your list is stuff you can make yourself or search on google how to do. It's not lack of creativity or imagination. It's limited with the developers and it stops and starts with them. Clothes are just stupid, ask an item forger. you wanted criticism for you suggestions no? Stop arguing points that haven't been fully thought out and haven't been researched for Christs sake. if there are any decent ones they may get implemented. But for now be thankful for what this game is or find a different game, end of story.
oh i am thankfull for almost 4 years now, know that only few other games kept me like this one still does. i dont even play it for the wins ( true lie), id say its more the joy of moving this doll arround i even started modding recently. its fun and yea half of the things i said can be done there but then again it realy makes me wanna have "slightly" better physics(or the mistakes even better hidden).
as for the cloths thingy, yea i understand that they block sight on joints and make it very hard to play acurate. but simply saying its impossible for beeing lazy on that exact creativety i mentioned before...dont want to go deeper into that...just will bring up unnecessary emotions here.
the suggestion just rises the question on how to do it at the best ...at least for me. nothing more nothing less.
and nope i dont like criticism much, but i like to provoke now and then a bit. id apreciate it if u guys, instead of criticise everything, you think for ideas by yourselfes on how to make this game even better.
