Pookiki made the structure of the main melody, made the muffled drum pattern,
supplied the bass which was then EQ'd, and basically planned the song's ending.
The only thing I'd suggest for you Pookster is to practice. Practice using melodies/chords and
practice EQ'ing sounds to "supercharge" them, as you put it. xD
Since you learned about the mixer, experiment using combinations of certain filters to
alter the sound as the song goes.
Here are the filters we used in our song and the reason we used it:
Fruity Love Filter - for muffling sounds.
Fruity Parametric EQ 2 - for increasing a sound's power/quality. ("Supercharge")
Fruity Limiter - making sounds louder if too quiet, and vice versa.
Fruity Reverb 2 - reverb, echoes.
Fruity Delay 2 - more echoes.
Gross Beat (Sidechain pattern) - Lowered the bass volume as the kick sound played.
