Pookiki made the structure of the main melody, made the muffled drum pattern,
supplied the bass which was then EQ'd, and basically planned the song's ending.

The only thing I'd suggest for you Pookster is to practice. Practice using melodies/chords and
practice EQ'ing sounds to "supercharge" them, as you put it. xD

Since you learned about the mixer, experiment using combinations of certain filters to
alter the sound as the song goes.

Here are the filters we used in our song and the reason we used it:
Fruity Love Filter - for muffling sounds.
Fruity Parametric EQ 2 - for increasing a sound's power/quality. ("Supercharge")
Fruity Limiter - making sounds louder if too quiet, and vice versa.
Fruity Reverb 2 - reverb, echoes.
Fruity Delay 2 - more echoes.
Gross Beat (Sidechain pattern) - Lowered the bass volume as the kick sound played.

I've made 2 new songs after the collab with Rex, Magnolite and POWERTRVP (my second attempt at trapstep), so uuuuuuh check those out when you can.

Looking for hip-hop and trap packs to dive more into trapstep at the moment.

Yeah, tried Trap again, but FL Studio was being an asshole which was weird.

I'm gunna need some sort of creative criticism and a reason to why I had to slow the tempo down when re-opening it and shit and why certain sounds are being incooperative(had to replace one of the hard kicks with another because it was leaking throughout the song, super weird).

i dont really like trap but ok

the start felt empty, there should be some bass or kick in there somewhere.
Build up was too short, can't really extend on this
After the drop the bass tempo was too high, it doesn't sound good and usually just creates a constant vibration which isn't necessarily good.

oh yikes

I'll get to fixing it, some of the build-up things were bothering anyway.

due to a pretty recent house fire, I no longer have my old laptop

which means I don't have FL Studio anymore

this doesn't mean I'm gunna stop making music entirely, but for the time being, I'm taking a long break to do digital art and shit
