I have no Idea of the workings of the curent system though, but it seems to be far to random.

If I remember correctly, the current system is based on ELO.

It just updates daily, which is why you see large rating fluctuations.

Edit: I would like to see the formulae for rankings calculations.

Possibly would like to see inactive players exempt from being ranked.

No, I'm saying those people that haven't played in a month should be exempt from being ranked.

Which means they get put on the bottom because they took a summer vacation?
