Dude, don't try to be philosophical with your shitposts.
But ontopic:
I actually think the problem with TB is not only introducing new people, but also keeping it interesting for the "veterans"
All the events pretty much pamper the lowest common denominator (except for the recent CL and SPcup, which I'm all for), and because of that,
veteran players don't have much to do except duel, and fuck about (Good example being alpha/RA etc only being properly active when CL is around). The events are designed so that it's a massive pain in the ass to participate in any of them and when you've been a part of the same kind of events for so long; It really gets repetitive and not worth the hassle, without the event having intrinsic qualities, (Fun idea, interesting concept, great mod, good competition...) which is rarely the case for more seasoned players.
Of course freshening the game up is a massive task, and if 5.0 someday launches we'll hopefully get some new "innovations". I'm still personally waiting for the clan rework that "is being made" (I don't know if this is the case since its been in the making for about a year now).
I also feel like the structures which allow proper innovations to happen are broken. GM team does a good job in what they do I feel. Sure they don't know shit about any kind of competitive elements, but for fun events, tourneys and other management tasks they do a great job. Clan council on the other hand (In charge of the competitive/overall clan rework) is clearly just fucking about, smelling their own farts and being generally just completely useless. With some fresh ideas, new people and proper new innovations (Looking at you 5.0). I'm sure TB has still some life left in it.
