Vegas stopped working for me when I was halfway through the vid the first time.
Some random script error occurred, which wouldn't go away even after registry cleaning, reinstalling and god knows what.
I use Adobe Premiere Pro now, it's a great program, but I'm just getting used to it. It's got a proper adjustable speed function, which is really the only thing I need for vid editing. That and Fade. I should add that I made the replay and the shader

It's really good, although I wouldn't pick a song like that if you want a slow and dramatic intro. I haven't heard the song before, so I can only hope it picks up. But, what you did was extremely well-done anyway. I hope you make this one the same quality as the intro.
