There's an unlimited amount of good words I can say about Jimi..I loved the fact that he had his own approach on guitar playing.

Jimi Hendrix isn't my favorite artist but he is spectacular, and his skill is miles ahead of Dragonforce. Sure they're technical but technicality doesn't equal good music. Ive heard they're live performances, and they cant play their songs to save their lives. also Jimi's songs tell stories, but with Dragonforce, it sound like they took some lines from fantasy novels and threw them together to make a 5 minute song.

Guitar virtuoso, most definitely. Any guitarist who doesn't like his works, is not probably on the right path.
He has it: soul, technique, flow. He's pretty much one of my main idols.

i have an opinion too. anyone who does not respect it can rape himself.
and i only listen to the guitar solos in those songs.
Lyrics sawck.
And i usually rate guitarists by speed.
But jimi hendrix is still in the top 10.
He's just not my favorite.
DragonForce's guitar is impossible.
Although, i would have to say they are tied.
Let's leave it at that.
