Black Metal is pretty much angry music.
I have spent time listening and trying to get into black metal but it's not my cup of tea. If I didn't take the time, I wouldn't be talking. The music gets too damn angry and obnoxious. I will not stay silent because of your ignorant remarks. It's my opinion and I intend to keep it that way.
I could just accept your views but I don't think you have spent enough time trying to get into black metal.
Okay I see you like other genres of metal so it wouldn't be suprise if you had tried to get into Black Metal. So yes I respect your opinion.
But youre still wrong about the "fact" that "angry and stupid" people listen to it.
I have never seen a aggressive Black Metal fan, that can't be said about melodeath, rap, techno or mainstream rock fans. Every genre hides a few rotten apples but IMO black metal fans in general are very polite and smart people.
I didn't say that the fans were stupid...I said that angry people turn to stupid, angry music..I would never call anyone stupid for listening to a music genre. I just call it stupid because it's stupid to me. I have a few friends who like Black Metal but as they might not be angry, it leads up to my point that they want to listen to angry music, and not that they are exactly angry themselves. Perhaps musically, they are angry, but I'm not the biggest angry music fan.
Yeah dude a music genre can never determine how a person acts. For example, I know a guy who loves Bob Marley to death but is an angry jerk. Doesn't fit does it? Lol.
That's not true. My best friend is into that stuff, so I know a lot of bands quite well. He introduced me to Bathory and Dimmu Borgir, for example.
There's very few good songs from Dimmu, and I don't like the old Bathory Black Metal songs at all (reasons stated in my previous post, that you called fail). The newer things, such as the Nordland albums (more viking and less black metal influenced) are, however, great.
So yeah, as you see I *do* know what I'm talking about. Also this thread is about opinions, so maybe you should learn to accept those instead of just wildly jumping into conclusions. Thanks.
