There is no absolute authority for the English language, so a Führer cannot exist. I think in the case of individuals that are extremely devoted to enforcing the correct usage of the language, the term "Schutzstaffel-Grammatik" would make for a better analogy than "Grammar Nazi". "Wehrmacht-Grammatik" would likewise apply to laypersons with a decent grasp of language conventions. These might be more appropriate ranks.

(Come September, I will be able to take a linguistics course. Until then, I will remain a mere soldat.)
