In Hungary (and probably a lot more European countries) the school is way different to the ones in America or England etc.



Our summer holiday, is about 3 months long. But we don't have as much holidays during the year. We have one from at Christmas, a short one at new year, one at easter, and thats about it I think.

But my situation was different, as I was an independent learner living in England, for 3 years now. But I was still a "member" of the school in Hungary. At the end of each Hungarian school year, I had to take exams about the Hungarian stuff that I learnt in England. (I was going to school in England, then I went home and I had to learn for the Hungarian exams -.- that usually took all day...) and now I took my exams, before the school ends. I dunno why. Is that clear now?
