Well yes, few things have a chance against a well-made slushie. Anyway, speaking of people and age ... maybe we can get a discussion going on the topic of aging and stuff.

@clan members: What's your take on living your life? If you had a choice, would you prefer it to be long and relatively eventless, or short and exciting? This is a very deep subject, but I reckon we can handle it.

My views on it: I would like to live a short and fulfilling life, following the philosophy "A candle that burns twice as bright will burn out twice as fast". I have very little interest in relationships or family, so I don't want what most people do - to grow old with a significant other, have kids and enjoy a "normal" quiet life. I'm more interested in what I can do/achieve during the time that I'm here. I adhere to an elaborate personal code(or worldview), which aside from some very basic principles is always evolving. My aim is to overcome ignorance in all its forms and to be just to every creature I encounter. I could be considered an idealist(even though I severely dislike the vast majority of humanity) in that I sincerely want the universe to be just to everyone. I would like to see the world cured of superstition, illusions,delusions or false beliefs. I always have and always will prefer the harsh truth over the most comforting lie, and I wish that more people felt that way. Anyway, enough of this for now. Your turn xD

I turned my "why should i care of what others think" switch on a few years ago.. And DEFINATELY will keep it like that

You only live once = Make your life productive, you only have one chance of making it, and who knows, maybe you can change other people as well. Don't make it an excuse to do stupid shit.

And about this age shit, I want to stay as a teenager forever >.> The most important thing I have learned while I was growing up was listen to older; much wiser persons than me. I haven't regret a single moment where I just followed orders of people with experience and wisdom. I should've listened to my parents when they said "when you're older; you're going to wish that you were still a kid, because, you will never be a kid again and don't let your youth go to waste" Well... I'm trying the best I can to have a good job and be happily a kid at heart during vacations. xD I have a different view about how LT doesn't want to bring offsprings to this cruel world full of bullshit. I wan't to bring up strong children who will change this world, but it's way harder to grant than to say it. I don't think the fall of mankind can be completely stopped. there will always be some people with twisted minds who will just want watch the world burn.

The YOLO thing is extremely misunderstood. Has a lot to do with the concept of stupidity. See, to a guy like me spending all of your life in one country, doing a monotonous boring job that does not require creativity, drinking alcohol and going to crowded bars which you can barely breath in is stupid. To some people doing dangerous stuff like rock climbing and martial arts is stupid.

Since there is no absolutely no credible evidence for rebirth, reincarnation or any way of surviving death in a non-physical form(despite what superstitions and religions claim), it aims to inform you that you should get the most of your life. To not let other people's bullshit keep you from enjoying yourself or pushing your limits. To live without regrets (the "at least I tried to do something interesting, unlike you"). However on the interned it has become a fucking tragedy, being used by people who are too pathetic to stand behind their words/actions. "I totally got a 500 gram metal piercing on my face and a tattoo of some barbwire on my arm ... YOLO, right?"



Doing stupid shit and then justifying it with the YOLO in an attempt to somehow convince other people that your action has some kind of deeper meaning like "stick it to the Man" or "f*ck da police" does not work. It's just plain dumb.
