I've been thinking about this for a while, and we cannot continue to hold this event in these circumstances. Most people who joined this event were eliminated due to not fighting or not having time to fight. This isn't what we want. We want everyone to compete in an event to enjoy it fully being able to play the game in a different way to earn some cool stuff, but the fact that this event relied on participants' schedules being fairly clear for up to a month was a mistake and we are genuinely sorry for those that couldn't even get to compete properly.
In the future we will more than likely bring this back, but in a way that you guys are not penalized for not having an open schedule. Along with that, on our part we cannot continue to make mods specific to this event if half of them aren't being used due to what I've explained above. For this event faltering to this state due to time concerns, I've dealt out the prize money of the entire event among those of you who were supposed to compete last week. Though it's not as much as the full prize, I hope this will compensate at least slightly for the time you have spent playing the game and designing your weapons. To supplement I have also placed all of you on a VIP list for the next god team event, if willing, you will have a guaranteed spot in the next event.
So again, sorry that this did not turn out as planned for either parties, but we feel that this was more work than fun for everyone involved. Next time around we'll be putting the time constraints on ourselves rather than you guys so you can have more fun. This idea will probably be brought back in a way that is more enjoyable for the participants (and us!). We apologize for shutting down this event, and it's quite embarrassing.
We hope to make it up to you in the future, and also hope that we will have your continued support.
