i've spent the entire day having fun being retarded. using a riot shield/throwing knife class is always exciting on hardcore modes. quickscoping in headquarters pro. i recommend that you have fun in this godforsaken game, rather than sit around and camp with a lmg. you'll be much happier with your buy.
also, i'm a bit jealous over how easy quickscoping is on consoles. most of the time i either go too fast, or too slow, i can never work it out with my quirky sense. but yeah, i'm never using the acog scope. hate it. ;(
fistfury: it's simple - use the sleight of hand pro/stopping power pro/steady aim pro combo, aim at your target with the huge standard crosshair, scope in and fire when it's fully scoped/almost fully scoped. if you want to dragscope something, aim at the side of your target (this is recommended if you're new to the whole deal of not just camping with a sniper, you probably won't aim perfectly with the huge crosshair at once anyway), and just drag the scope from whatever side across your target, and fire at the right time. unfortunately, it's harder for new people to learn with mouse and keyboard, and you'll spend alot of time missing and wondering how the hell that shot didnt hit, or why you're getting hitmarkers.
also, i use the intervention, because i feel most comfortable with it, but also because the barrett and other semi autos actually do make you lazy. "ono i missed, i should spray all over the place". intervention forces you to scope out, reaim, fire again. actually, it doesnt force you to scope out but wtf, it looks and feels more awesome that way. but hey, if you like the barrett, use it. it mostly results in 1hits anyway.
note: a tip i got from some youtube vid - aim at the midsection of your target, if you think he'll start shooting at you. that way, he'll probably get hit even if he shoots you and your aim goes up right when you shoot at him.
^ random ramblings about quickscoping, tldr etc.
also, akimbo magnums suck. 0% accuracy.

Who says the suck? Its a One hit kill if you pull both triggers, and its deadly accurate if you have steady aim on. I owned everyone in a free for all match (all level 50 and above, or prestiged) with it.
