yeah but as a gaming pc owner who is busy in school and such I truly regret sacrificing that mobility.
I agree they're much more expensive but remember
a. you're paying for the whole package (and branding, unfortunately)
b. the mobility is much more necessary than you think
however, if you only got 400$ to blow I'd go for building a PC too.
...or you know, save up.

What I did was buy a good "overall" laptop that can run games decently (not designed for gaming, just runs games that i want to play well e.g. LoL, CSGO, TF2 etc.) and use it for everything.
