DSC accidents:
I already knew that we have problems with activity, but thats a problem?
If you think it is, then please post what i shall do with them.
Application:
Yea thats true, but i think they should not post their stat card.
I can click the achievements button and theres th information
So what should they post?
I have only one idea:
Timezone(If you dont know your Timezone click here):
Bold:
Saves you the time and effort to get them to post it. It also shows they can function in the forums.
Timezone is good. Although, even though I ask for it in my applicants, I haven't used it much.
They should post about themselves. You're pretty much taking in someone based on their name, belt and best rank? How much tc they will donate?! That doesn't sound too good if you read it too yourself.
Get them to show their personality. (I.e, "Post one paragraph about yourself. (Add what you expect them to say, like attitude etc.)
Italics:
Give them a warning. PM them. After 3 days, kick them. Don't be afraid to lose members. You will get much better applicants.
Another option is to have a posting requirement. You have to post 5 times a day(?) 1 for checking in, 4 other posts that are not spam and interact with the clan itself.
Worry about people who's first post is that application. They're probably desperate to get a clan and only went on the forums TO get a clan.
Also, I don't mean to say their inactivity is a problem of the DSC. If I did, it's an error. you basically need to be more strict.
Underlined:
Being on break, vacation etc is fine. I have 3 members who gave me a heads-up and are still on a vacation. Made no problem at all. I'm taking about the members who have no reason to be inactive on the forums. As I said earlier, send a pm to all your clan mates (ignoring those on break) telling them to leave a post (that isn't spam) within the next (?) days. If they don't make it, kick them. There are tons of reliable members out there that WILL be posting, even if doing this decreases your member count a bit. People will prefer GOOD few members over TONS of inexperienced, new, inactive members. From what you just said, it seems that you intentionally left them on the DSC for show, to make it LOOK you have a lot of active members.
