poor squirre1. but bojan, if its faster to do it this way, then go ahead. it might seem strange to people in the future when the quality suddenly changes but oh well ^_^ wed all rather you continue doing rift than quit cus you dont have time to keep to the same style

That's the thing, Deridor. If I draw 'artistic-like', it takes time. If u look past pages u will see that whenever there is a image that was done like painting and it was time consuming to make that pic, there is always a 'sketchy' lower quality image on the same page. If I have to draw close to reality then it affect the storytelling in a way that I prolong some parts cause I draw less images on the same page. Looking from beginning to now, pages went through all kind of style changes, watercolor and pencil, oil painting, pastel, black & white inking, smudged pencil, etc... I tried everything experimenting to see how much some art materials and styles affect the time of making those images and pages. So, far, flat-point ink pen and the watercolors are fastest. Also, I like them. :}
well, for the sake of the comic, keep cycling between a few styles. makes it more interesting. in my opinion, you should only use the painting style for very important, climactic parts. like when the robot smashed the hell out of that wall

Sure. I love the comic :P It looks like a thing I use to do when I was very, very, very young :} I had a ongoing episodes of THE MONSTERS! Hehe.
go for speed in the general ones.
but when a new character comes in, and they play a fairly decent role in the comic, then spend a bit more time on drawing that character. then after that, you can draw them sketch style. that way the comic gets out faster and people are happy with the way youve drawn them
