HTOTM: FUSION
Not going to try anything of the sort now, since it's 3am. I'll mess around with the idea tomorrow anyway.

Got any links to music where they use this sort of thing?
No, not really. All of the artificial harmonics I heard were perfect artificial harmonics. So it comes with the squeel and heavy vibrato. I'll try to listen for it though.

Also there is this other technique that uses a natural harmonic the artificial harmonic way like putting picking hand over 24th fret then then pinch it or however you do then grab the guitar by the back of the neck then push forward slowly so you dive and your artificially Natural Harmonic gets deeper instead higher and squeely. Takes a little bit too get used to doing it though.

still havent got a chance to try this. havent been in today= /

also, get a whammy bar ;p

also artificially natural harmonic what ?
I would need to get it built in into my 1958 Korina. I should get a whaymm bar and I really, really, really, want one. I know the Artificial Natural harmonic is weird. Also listen to the song The Conjuring because it has a kick ass tapping intro with harmonics

I'm pretty sure that a natural artificial harmonic isn't uh, a real thing. Since it's a contradiction in terms - if it's a natural harmonic, why would it be artificial ><.

And yep, megadeth are good.

The shredder that stands out the most to me is John 5. He, is, fucking, LEGENDARY!

If you like the slower and possibly more emotional songs, try out Dream Theater and Liquid Tension Experiment.

Also, I apologize for not knowing some band's guitarist names. Besides John 5 cos he goes solo.

Has anyone mentioned Chris Poland from Megadeth yet? His solos are so techical and cool sounding. Like on the beginning of Good Mourning/Black Friday or his solos on Peace Sells.

Because you do it the artificial way to get a natural harmonic sound, but deeper. It's kind of weird to do.
