I think that you're missing the point. The point is that burqas could conceal someone's identity, making it easier for them to commit a crime and not get caught. The cross necklace is a bit different
No, ever heard of freedom of expression? Banning any kind of clothing is wrong, you should be able to wear what you want when you want. As long as you dont go over the top with it and turn up at a fancy restraunt in a gimp suit.

But, burqas are traditional clothing, its like saying men cant wear tuxedos anymore.
Those reasons aren't enough to win my opinion.

Yes, it does conceal their identity, but it is a religeous peice of clothing, and people should forever be free to use it.
Recently in England, a women was fired from her job at BA (British Airways) for wearing a small cross on a chain around her neck. The reasoning behind this was that it was a public display of religion, and may offend non-Christians. Now if a burqa or a niqab isn't a "display of religion" then I don't know what is. If Christians are not allow to wear crosses, then Muslims should not be allowed to wear a burqa. Simple as that.
Since when was a burqa required to be worn because of a religion? Last time I checked, the only reason they wore them because of the laws that they had to abide by in their original country.

My love for u has gotten me detention like 4 times lol
Yes, but its also an original, religious peice of clothing, wether they were forced to wear it or not. They know that they can take it off, but they dont, because even though in our countries, we dont force them to wear burqas, they still wear it because of their culture.

I never said that it was required by British Laws (although under sharia law, the burqa is required), I mearly stated that it was a symbol of their religion, much like the Christian cross, and thus should be treated in the same way
Many Mulsims intepret a passage or two from the Qur'an (Holy Book) to mean that women should wear burqas. Ergo, it is religious.

Thats my point, and religous clothing is a completely different ball game to normal clothing, if they try and ban it, there will be a major uproar from the european muslim community.
