<FeD> i will allow my ass being raped
I've noticed this happens in games with large open spaces where the draw distance is limited; it's infamous for happening in Grand Theft Auto if you go too fast, and it's also obvious in Oblivion when riding a horse.

But in many games with big draw distances, this isn't a problem, ala Assassin's Creed- in both the original and the sequel you could climb up a few hundred feet and look out at a city well over a mile or so in diameter with no texture problems.

Anywho, I haven't noticed this problem on any games except GTA IV and Oblivion :V I don't think it's system limitations, if one game can do it, so can all the others. I'm looking at you, Metal Gear Solid, with your orgasmic hi-definition textures. Yeah. If you can do that without lagging and without pop-up textures so can everything else.

EDIT: And yes I have a completely fair way of comparing things go away and let me resume eating a lampshade.

Eh, the load times didn't really bother me, maybe 30 seconds at most. IMO it's more than worth it. Same with the fact that you have to install Metal Gear Solid 5 times, which is quicker than it sounds, all 5 cumulatively take about 10 minutes to do, and it offers you a nice little break between major sections.

As long as I'm not sitting there waiting a minute or more for the game to come up and as long as it doesn't have to load every two minutes (Postal 2, grrr) I'm fine with load screens.
