linux is better in basicly every way except for the fact that it can't run exe files... which means no games

I strongly suggest you take a step back and try to explain why you need to run a windows executable on a Linux system. Sure, you can run it with wine, but there's a strong liklihood that won't let you do what you want. Running under wine will only have relevance while that particular wine session is running.

well, I know with Ubuntu you can right click, go to properties, and select "allow executables"

Also DesiTwist, we would be running them for games. Also what do you mean "relevance for that particular session"? You can save in WINE...so Im guessing you mean something else.

Windows is easier to use too.

Not really. 7 confused the fuck out of me after years of XP devotion. Ubuntu though is pretty intuitive so far.

you can't do shit on linux, you need converters for nearly everything

also, vmware > wine

Every OS pretty much does the same thing.

The only real difference is Windows runs games, so if you are a gamer/don't have a console it makes more sense.
