Don't be like that. I am not a shoveler, but shoveling is just a game technique. Saying that you hate it shows that you probably can't counter that.

About them shovelers. Shoveling is not fighting, toribash is supposed to be a fighting game. So technically shovelers shouldn't be playing it.
Still it can be fun when someone tries to shovel you. This guy in the replay wasnt a very good shoveler

Erm, no. The objective of aikido is to DQ your opponent/throwing your opponent out of the dojo. Shovel is just a technique to do it. So, tecnically, you're fighting.

when I say fight I mean like kicking and punching and wrestling. Shoveling is not original, and its just a bitch. People who use shovels display a lack of skill and cannot be considered a worthy opponent.

Just to mention. I am able to dodge shoveling, but I agree with iFish. It's not "true" fighting for me, just raising and lowering your arms. Anyway, there are lot's of better aikido tactics so I don't worry about shovelers, I just don't like them. Actually I hate them.
