Inconsistency of the stroke on the cape bothers me. Either all or none of the knight should have that stroke. As it is, it seems rather out of place.

You could always copy the image you posted in a lower layer. I don't know whether your shading method would allow this to work, but I always drew over what was there if I accidentally merge all layers and didn't finish an object.

It sucks that PS crashed though. The cape was looking great.

I dunno if cloth texturing and vectors really mix. One is really fine detail, the other is more like overall shapes and shades. The way it was, I could tell it was cloth just from the shape.

hanz0 showed me a great way to texture cloth, and since the helmet and cape are already done I'll probably just cut out some parts and put them back on the .psd.

Also, I'd like to state that the stroke on the cape isn't a stroke at all, it's a border. Once I add cloth texturing and embroidering/designs, it'll be sort of clear. I may end up throwing out the cape altogether in favor of full ceremonial armor.

I think capeless would be extremely better.

That's sexy, maybe you should try finding cloth textures for the clothish part.
I'm back and stuff, it's probably temporary.
it's vector, cloth and vector dont really add to me.
cloth+vector= ugly
I bought a subscription to Wibbles so I think this quote is necessary,

You'd be surprised at how good cloth vectoring can look with a little creative pentooling.

I'll post another WIP on Monday, perhaps.
