I actually do have a big "persona" but I can relate to it a lot... Just there are certain things you wish you could say in real life and you just can't but you can online. I have a lot of online friends mostly girls. And I have met some of the people I meet online before, and only 2 of them found me different online than in real life.

Such wisdom! Such clarity!

Anyway, it's different talking to people online and in real life, so it's different how you act with the people. Different people, different environments, other factors to account for.

Perhaps, but as far as I know, m0o believes she is without boobs and thus what you've said doesn't help her.

people do that in real life anyway. the majority of people have md insecurities, but they mask it so they seem tough guys.
though its alot more noticable on the interwebz. trolls > bullys

if, IRL, you are as wise as you are here, you should work for oprah.

online you have time to think of on a response. IRL you cant delay go afk in the middle of a conversation, you'd get a slap...
also, IRL doesnt have an edit button...

I stutter a lot, but basically the manner of speech is the same

which is kind of distraughting considering my friends dont speak english very often. I'm awkward when speaking my native tongue.

Like most people I am hesitant when talking to older people/foreign people/visitors

Contrary to some people, my internet persona is a PG-13 rated version. Mostly cause i think and talk faster than i can type. Also very snarky and cynical.

The internet gives me a lot of headroom to compose verbose and lucid responses to conversations, out in the wild expect most comments to be oneliners, hell i'd put on a standup act if i werent so paralyzed when performing with a large crowd

But on a whole, I'm pretty much sedate and contemplative... until you get me interested in something or riled up against something.
...
If someone's annoying we IRL then I usually just tell them to fuck off, but for some reason I'm more polite and civil when dealing with idiots over the Internet. No idea why.

Over the internet, telling someone to fuck off rather than using intelligence to put them in their place seems to categorise you under troll or internet tough guy.

IRL, you are deemed as normal, I guess.
Erm, I'd say people get cocky over the interwebz.

Having quite a distance, can change peoples way of treating some one else.

I'm not perfect either.

This has completely come from left field for me, I totally would have thought the opposite of you. But knowing this now I feel is good, I feel like I know you more. All of you for that matter, except for m0o and possibly KiTFoX, both of who responded as I would have expected.
