I think I am gonna pre-order one.

I don't really care about 3D to be honest. The main draws for me are OoT, and star fox 64.

And they say it is going to have a virtual console for gameboy games, but they don't have GBA games...

June 2nd is going to be expensive.
Starting off with Street Fighter and Pilotwings on release, then Star Fox, OoT, Kid Icarus and Mario Kart on June 2nd.

"Necroing" this thread to avoid more threads about the same subject, and it's not that old.

Got my 3DS today along with Pilotwings and Ghost Recon: Shadow wars, gonna swap Pilotwings with Street Fighter so I can play it with some friends and stuff. The 3D is nice, just saying. And Ghost Recon is a nice strategy game. Gonna play alot of it now.

It's not pop-out 3D, it's depth 3D. I've only tried the AR-games and Ghost Recon, and the 3D for the AR works great. The 3D for Ghost recon, is like.... when the characters are talking(an image shows up and stuff) it's closer to you than the field with the units. But the 3D isn't really needed in this game, it's more for the looks.

To sum it up, it looks nice on what I've seen. Swapping Pilotwings for Street Fighter so I can play with my friends tomorrow will give me some more experience with the 3D. So... I'll keep you updated.

And June 2nd can't come fast enough.

I haven't done my research but it is the 3DS backwards compatible with the regular DS games? Street Fighter on 3DS has online right? Sold.

If the Phoenix Wright/Professor Layton crossover gets a localization, I'll do anything to get a fucking 3DS.

Yes, it's backwards compitable.

The 3DS games are region locked, but the DS games are not. So feel free to use your japanese/american/european (wherever you come from) DS games on your 3DS. And Super Street Fighter IV got online. Yes.
