I had a custom joint render shop.. People saw the shop.. And requested some...
Before that, no one used that idea.. And.. Without it.. No one will think to request one u.u
so...people won't request 3d joints render.. And i can't earn tc anymore...

No, that's just wrong. You are still able to sell every other type of art that you solf before, and people can request it in the forum. If people still want want you're offering, then they will request it, don't worry.

I have 20 tc and I cant find a way to get more.

The whole point is that there is a too big a void between new players and experienced players.

Once you can make a decent amount of money, you get all you want fairly quickly.

Once I started trying to make money it only took a few weeks before I had what I wanted (full void, sapphire, ivory, textures) and enough to do whatever I wanted. The problem is there is no incentive to make more money, except to sell it.

So there, if there was a nicer gradient in prices then the economy would be a lot better.

Yess yess yess, but, i'm not complaining but what about the people who don't make texture? people that make a type of artwork different to texture, like just say someone opened a image manipulation shop, where people post an image, and tell details of how they want the image manipulated to what the artist can do? That type of shop would be good for a request shop, because is no one has one, people wont be able to request that because they wont know people can do it.. do you get what i'm saying, not meaning to bitch, i'm just saying, closing all request shops will put people who have a unique type of art shop out of business...

I don't think people understand that a free market is built to suit the best content creators and the customers.

In the past the whole system was skewed in favor of textures. People would auction off individual sets for ridiculous prices. You can still compete with regular ol' shops.

However, with a request shop, the client was forced to come to the texturer and request a specific style. Because any competition had no interest in a request for a separate specific texturer, only one set of the kind the client wanted was produced. In other words, texturers could charge stupidly high because no one else had a set that was so highly customized for the buyer.

It was a stupid system. Customers were forced to sacrifice choice and an unfair amount of tc simply to get the details they wanted. And if texturers already have clients paying ridiculous prices and coming to them, why should they care about the requests board? Request threads had to pay exorbitant prices just to get noticed.

I fully approve of the change.

What I mean was, Someone with an abstract way of art to give to the public comunity, If there are no request shops, the people who do art like this won't have a chance to expand there art and to get it known.

Like, this change will shut down people unique style of art that they could've given to the toribash community.

you really don't get it. sure they might request the art like once a month, but how is that enough to earn someone money? And for people who have just come up with a new style of art will never have the chance to put there art scheme out there.
