So, someone whos commonly known as a satanist, someone who sees "the evil" you spoke of as "the good", which you said was the same thing as murdering ppl and "the good" as "the evil", n other words viceversa your view, Are they evil?

turn it around and step away from your contrast less world which most ppl are to strangled in and see that there is no such thing as a "Pure good force"

one extreme case; You "help" (you will notice why i use " marks) children in Africa, they get educated and get a job, now, isnt that wonderful?
now; lets view it from another tribes perspective, which has been in war with the tribe whose kids you just educated: You help the enemy, they get a income which could lead to them making more money; buying weapons, having an easier time surviving and ultimately; destroy your tribe and everything you fight for, now, this aint wonderful is it?

So for the sake of being civilized, dont take part with either side, help both, in other words, dont do like the US and A.
Now doing recoloring for people not in the clan as-well, PM for more info!

There seems to be a general agreement for the majority of people here, good and evil cannot be defined when other people, cultures, societies are taken into account. They are completely subjective terms, only defined so far as they can be used to your advantage. If your definition boosts you up and puts your opponent down then you accept it, if it's the other way around, then it's wrong.

This issue stems back to morality, which is just as subjective as "good" and "evil".

There isn't much else to say on the subject, so I'll leave with a quote.

"There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so." -Hamlet

Cogito ergo sum. I think therefor I exist.

I know it's true because it says so right here in this signature.
I think it depend on who's looking at what. Someone isn't going to think of themself as evil, unless they're messed up in the head. People do things because they think it's the right thing to do, or at least the correct thing to do. While others look at them and think they're a horible person, they think to themselves that it's th correct action with just a few minor concequences.
Big Bang Theory: In the beginning there was nothing....which exploded... Creationists: If everyone shares the same imaginary friend, he must be real...
You both sound ridiculous so stop arguing...
I personally have mixed feelings for "good" and "evil"

sometimes it seems like they are words made up to cover ones reluctance to view the thick and thin of things

sometimes they just seem like titles for the unknown, or something used for power by leaders (or would be leaders)

People have their reasons for labeling things. It'll change for every person.
In my opinion it's all about morality.
For some people "Good" and "Evil" are one thing, for other "Good" and "Evil" is another thing. Before I do a quick example just to tell that im atheist, so no offense to both religions.
Example: For the christians, God is "Good" and Satan is "Evil". For the Satanists, Satan is "Good" and God is "Evil". They both have different beliefs and points of view.

Or another example which I agree with...

^ I agree, and the example with America is perfect. Another is the thief. Is stealing okay if your feeding your starving family? From the thief's point of view it is, but from the shopkeeper he steals from, it is wrong.

Be accurate!
Good and evil and subjective terms and we will not come to a conclusion during this discussion about anything.

Do the ends justify the means? You be the judge. It's your own actions, just think of the consequences.

Good is intended only to help, not to harm. Evil is the opposite. Something intended to be good could end up bad, but wouldn't be evil unless intended so, and again, vice versa.
ಠ_ರೃ - "Quite so, good sir."
Good is the light at the end of the tunnel.

Evil is the hatred growing inside you until it pours out through your fists.

Did I win?
That guy named Poppo
You know, the leader of Fyre.
See heres the thing......Good and "Evil" is much different from Good and "Bad". What he was stating was more subjective to Good and "Bad". When you talk about Good and "Evil" its more of a perception of the Bible. It states Good as being someone who helps others and does good deeds. Then it states Evil as being someone who follows in the Devil and is murderous and unkind.
Was Robin Hood "Good" or "Evil"?

XD

No seriously.

Robin Hood stole from the Rich (Evil) and gave it to the poor (Good).

It's not so simple to say whether something is good or evil. One has to look at the circumstance, the purpose, history, personal belief and the state of the person's mind.

Let's take China for example. Once a collection of many seperate states (correct me if I'm wrong at any point here) it was eventually united under one ruler through conquest. A lot of people died in the process, but because of this, China is now much stronger than it would have been otherwise.

Also, look at Singapore. Before Japan invaded Singapore, they were under British rule. Many people suffered and died during the occupation after Singapore was handed over to the Japanese. BUT, after the war ended, Singapore no longer wanted to be under the British and fought for independence. Because of this, it is now considered a country in it's own right.
