... its a fucking category 2 storm... Katrina was category 5, Charlie was category 4, and Donna was category 5. You act as if category 2 hurricanes are going to kill people... >.>

To top this off, it loses speed when it hits colder water and land... Considering how its hitting both, I highly doubt it will completely destroy everything, let alone even make it as a category 2 when it comes to Pennsylvania.
When people create Jersey Shore God punishes them.

In all seroiusness this is a very scary thing. This is just like Katrina except this time it effects the entire east coast.
The thing that worries me is that it will reach up toward New York. Could you imagine the horrible destruction it will cause with all those large buildings?
:< hope it won't destroy my house

Hahaha

Scale goes from cat 1 to cat 5
Their scale goes from 1 to 5

It's in reality a cat two but on their scale it is equated with 4.

Who knew the weather channel was as sensationalist as mainstream media?

THank you! Someone has some common sense.
I live in Pennsylvania and from what I've heard from the news about this, is that it will most likely be the worst in North and South Carolina. I'll probably get rain and wind but nothing else. Good luck to anyone on the coast of any of the states that will be hit!
I just got hit by it today.

I live in South Carolina and the worst that happened to us was a dropped power line, some rain, and a bunch of closed bridges. Other than the wind and annoying power outages it wasn't too much.

I mostly just slept through it, cause I couldn't go anywhere or do anything.

My yard is a tad flooded too, but nothing serious.
DAMN.
