Christmas Lottery
I think he got that point guys...
keep posting what you think is written on that suff is useless.

Alpha I hope you did make some change on it.. because seriously thats not a good logo.
Keep working on it and dont take all this posts in the wrong way... most of them tell important points of whats not good with the logo.

Surely is up to you what to do with our suggestions. I assume you never had experience in logo making.

An important thing is to know what the "mass" think about it.
Because the message and immage you recieve from that logo can be percepted from you in a totally different way as others do.. but when 10 ppl tell you stuff you dont see.. then there something wrong and you must think about it.
I don't think I'll change it.
I like it the way it is.

I'll post here what the graphic designer has to say about it.

Jalis: Freelancer, you're a duck | Sachi: Freelancer, you're a duck | Reanimator: Freelancer, you're a duck
satiknee: Freelancer, you're a duck | Wiggi: Freelancer, you're a duck | Tarlan: Freelancer, you're a duck
I am as well, just in an early stage...Although all designers have different perspectives on your work taking their advice is crucial.

Alpha, I think you should take all the criticism in to consideration, there are some really good advices here, if not... why did you post in the art thread asking for CnC at all if you don't care?

You're ability to take C&C is quite extraordinary. And that last sassy remark was has depleted you of -4 points on the scale of life. If you wanted to hear what people were going to say about it (which is why you put it in an art forum) take their opinions seriously.

Agreed, but I don't think that a personal logo have to be based on what the "mass" think, cause it will be your "signature". It's more like "oh, look, someone made it, here is his signature".

Btw,
you have to like your own art.
CnC is something that you can absorb and use in another projects, but if it will make your work "worst" for you, you don't have to use it.
It's like a shirt.... would you use a shirt that everyone likes (but you don't) just because everyone like?
Yeah, worst example ever.

The point is, he saw what is wrong, and probably he know it's wrong, but just won't change, cause "he like it the way it is", being able to use the tips in another project.

The problem of personal logo is that it needs to tell your crowds what exactly it represent. It should show something that represent what you do and it should also be catchy enough.

A simple logo, but yet attractive is from jeff fisher.

(30 years old personal logo)

But the main problem of logo designers nowadays is that they think that what they made is good, but they do not accept what others say. A personal logo is not something that you could create in a matter of hours due that it will let others recognize what you do and what you present and what you shall create.

@AlphasoniK

Learn to accept cnc and do not be ignored to whatever peoples say, try to understand their criticism.

Research for jeff fisher (Logomotives):

Quote from one of his blog:
The biggest mistake by a designer coming directly out of school is believing everything everyone has told you prior to graduation day. Throughout their childhoods, and all levels of education, creative types are told by many that they are so great and so talented. Reality will hit, when the door of the school smacks a recent design graduate in the rear-end, as they head out into the big, bad world. That’s when one’s true design education begins.
