My life got flipped-turned upside down

I’ll tell you how I became mad scientist of Kensington Square.

In west London born and raised
On the pitch at cobham was where I spent most of my days
Chillin’ out maxin’ relaxin’ all cool
And all shootin some freekicks outside of the school
When a couple of lads
Who were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mum got scared
She said ’You’re movin’ with your auntie and uncle in Kensington Square’

I begged and pleaded with her the other day
But she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way
She gave me a kissin' and she gave me my pipe
I put my tophat on and said
I might as well kick it

First class, yo this isn't bad,
Drinking orange juice out of a champagne glass
Is this what the people of Kensington Square livin' like,
Hmm this might be alright!

I whistled for a carriage and when it came near the horses smelled like fresh dung, and there were playing cards in the coach
If anything I could say that this carriage was rare
But I thought nah forget it, yo home to Kensington Square

I pulled up to a house about seven or eight
And I yelled to the coachie "Yo, homie smell you later"
Looked at my kingdom I was finally there To sit on my throne as the prince of Kensington Square.
